CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Who does not love cookies, that are crispy, chewy and soft at the same time? I highly doubt you will be able to find such a person. The recipe, that I'm about to share with you, is kind of special for me, I made my very first cookies following this recipe! They turned out to be so incredibly delicious, that I'm baking them regularly ever since. Keep in mind, that they are not low-fat, sugar-free nor gluten-free. They taste exactly like traditional cookies or even better, but are not the healthies option. Personally, I believe that balanced lifestyle is the key. Without further ado, let's get started!

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of wholewheat flour
  • 1 cup of cane sugar
  • 1 banana
  • 120 g of vegan butter
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 100 g of dark chocolate chips(make sure it doesn't contain milk)
  • sunflowers seeds, rasins, nuts (it's all up to you)
Preheat oven to 180 C. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in one bowl. Beat margarine and cane sugar in another bowl. Add a mashed banana and beat thoroughtly until creamy. Beat in the flour mixture. Pour oats, chocolate chips and addings of your choice into the bowl and combine using a spoon.
Form cookies and place them onto baking sheets and bake in the oven for 10-15 mins.

Bon appetit!
